Regal Repair location has a rich history. It is the location where So Cal Speed Shop built the first Ford Flathead that broke the land speed record to go over 200 MPH.
Alex Xydias the original owner, was legendary in the hot rod world and in 1982 was inducted into the SEMA Hall of Fame.
He also worked for Petersen Publishing and eventually became the editor of Hot Rod Magazine.
